Trust in the Lord, and do good; (Psalm 37:3-4). As I prayed so hard, God gave me a huge blessing. I was blessed with 9 years of scholarships, 5 years of Night High School plus 4 years of College.
I am a former scholar of BOSCH Corporation, Springboard Foundation and ABC Foundation. I went to Siena College of Taytay as a Night High School Scholar, Batch 2011. In 2015, I became a degree holder of Bachelor of Advertising and Public Relations at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)and I used to be a working student at McDonald’s as a Crew Chief for 2 and a half years in Taytay, Rizal.
When I graduated from college, I started looking for work so I can help my family financially. Applying for a job was not easy. I attended several interviews and not all of them gave me feedback regarding my application. Luckily, on June 2015, I got hired by Affinity Express Philippines as an Associate Ad Coordinator. I stayed there for almost 2 years and I realized that it was not my dream job. I resigned April 2017. Reality hit me. I really didn’t know what to do with my life. What career did I really want? How can I help my family? So I prayed to God and asked for His guidance. God didn’t fail me. I had my 1st interview at The Financial Times of London. Then after a week, I had my final interview with the Digital Advertising Operations Director of Financial Times – Mr. Anthony Hitchings. He is based in London, England. It was a tough interview because I had to fully understand his British accent and answer all his hard questions. Finally, the long wait was over. I got hired by The Financial Times. Here’s a quick overview of our company. The Financial Times is one of the world’s leading news organizations, recognized internationally for its authority, integrity and accuracy. It is part of Nikkei Inc., which provides a broad range of information, news and services for the global business community. The Financial Times in Manila is the second largest FT office in the world. I work as a Digital Ad Operations Campaign Manager. My role is to execute end to end Ad Campaign Management from inventory, booking and insertion orders, troubleshooting, optimization and reporting, including support to billing queries. I also cooperate with all Asia Sales Representatives, CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa) and United Kingdom Editorial teams. And managing excellent work relations with all regional marketing teams and I work with Digital Advertising Operations team and global marketing/sales to improve systems and processes. We also attend trainings abroad especially in UK, Japan, Singapore and Hong Kong. So these are my responsibilities as a Digital Ad Campaign Manager. Now, I can see myself working with The Financial Times for years. I found the right career for me. You just have to trust God with all your heart and He will never fail you.
