Globe Telecom – one of the biggest telecommunication company provider in the country in partnership with A Better Chance Foundation, treated the School Feeding Program Beneficiaries of Payatas B. Annex Elementary School and Kaligayahan Elementary School for the first time at The Mind Museum in BGC, Taguig City last December 17, 2016.
Both Public Schools are welcomed and accommodated upon arriving at the Mind Museum starting the day with a breakfast provided by Globe Business.
The kids are thrilled and excited to see all the activities awaiting for them. Upon entering the museum there was an introduction made by a robot named Aedi (which came from the word IDEA spelled backwards). Aedi explained all the activities and shows to see as well as the do’s and don’ts while inside the museum.
We were given 3 hours to explore all the exhibit in the 5 galleries inside the museum. First the Atom Gallery where they explored all the exhibit featuring the strange world of all the smallest forces and particles. Second, the Life Gallery where they saw what the early human looks like during the ancient time and other organs that you can find in a human body. Third, The Earth Gallery where they exhibited the story of Earth and how it started. They also had the time to see what it looks like during the Dinosaurs era up to the early human races. Fourth, The Universe Gallery where they had the chance to see how the outer space looks like. They were able to see the solar system and a life sized statue of an astronaut. Fifth and last is the Technology Gallery where they can play and use all the gadgets in that area. Like computer games, big toys, and some mechanical exhibit showing how it is used in today’s modern age.
At the end of the tour Globe Business prepared a buffet lunch for everyone and to show gratitude the children from the feeding program performed a dance and song number to entertain the generous sponsors. The principal of Kaligayahan Elementary School also charmed everyone by her very energetic dancing skills with Sir Mike of Globe.
