Last week, we received a wonderful letter from one of our college graduates, Ron Jerrald Templo. Jerrald was one of our Night High Scholars who graduated from Siena College, Quezon City, in 2010. Jerrald went on to become one of our College Scholars and studied at Philippine Normal University. He graduated last April, 2014.
Congratulations, Jerrald, and thank you for your very nice letter!
Pax et bonum!
I just want to say THANK YOU for accepting me as one of your scholars in A Better Chance Foundation. I know words of gratitude are not enough to give back all of the aid that the foundation gave me, yet still I would like to thank you – thank you for giving me the chance and helping me to achieve 2 of my greatest dreams in life. One is that when I was in high school, studying at Siena College, Quezon City was one of my dreams when I was still in my elementary years, and that was fulfilled when I was accepted in your Night High School Program in SCQC.
The second was after graduating from the SCQC-NHS batch 2, I dreamt of having my undergraduate studies in Psychology which before our graduation, your foundation very generously gave another scholarship to 10 deserving students, and I was included among the lucky 10 students, and now, I have my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, which, without the financial support of the foundation, I wouldn’t have made it.
Also, I would like to bring you good news! One week after my graduation on April 2, 2014, I was hired for my first job as a guidance counselor in Dominican School Manila. They offered my the position as the new guidance counselor, which I grabbed without haste.
And now my next dream is to pay forward what your foundation has given to me!
Again, thank you very much and God bless.
Ron Jerrald S. Templo
